Want to train better tomorrow? Eat this before bedtime
If there are some foods that you should avoid before going to bed, that may cause insomnia or difficulty in digestion, there are others that you should consume in order to train better.
We already know that sleep has a restorative function to the organism. It is during sleep that the body and mind regenerate and recover. No wonder that sleep is also essential to our muscles. Our body is compelled to build muscles, during exercise or during the night while we sleep. It is during deep sleep that the muscle fibers reconstitute themselves after training, using calories reserves. The highest doses of growth hormones are released during this deep sleep stage and, if the body has a good dose of protein, muscle growth is powered. If you choose to ingest the right food, you can even gain muscles while you rest. Tomorrow, for sure, you will train better.
If you want to take the most of your workout, then choose to ingest food that eliminate the bad cholesterol, that boost blood circulation and renewal of cells, helping and even enhancing muscle mass.
You should include in your diet, at night, foods that are good sources of protein, without abusing in quantity. Chicken, turkey, low fat cheese, and eggs are excellent for providing protein with very little fat. Oilseeds are foods rich in essential fatty acids, such as Omega-3, 6 and 9. If the consume them before bed, you will supply your body with good fat, that combat the bad one, improving circulatory system and giving you energy in order to perform the anabolism, i.e. the building of muscle tissue. It is advisable that you to eat a handful of these nuts before dinner.
Fish is being rich in protein fatty acids as Omega-3 and 6, it also has great effects on building muscle tissue while we sleep.
The cottage cheese, it has low fat and lots of protein, is also an option of taking a meal in the evening. It is a light meal, it contains a lot of casein and is rich in amino acids.
