We not always realize how lucky we are for having siblings. Depending on the age difference, they may prove to be a torment in younger ages, but as we grow we realized the immense advantages that siblings bring and the precious helps that they are.

Especially in younger ages, when the relationship is contentious, full of discussions and tantrums, siblings oblige us to share, either objects or parent’s attention, making us less selfish. This is a most important learning we can get in life.

Having a brother or a sister is having someone for life to lean on, who we can expect total honesty, even some harshness when necessary, but we know to be for our good. Siblings are friends and good ones.

Whether the older brother or younger, there are advantages in any position: the younger brothers idolize the older and is filled with pride for having that brother or sister and still feel protected when threatened by schoolmates.

Not to mention in wardrobe. Who was a brother or sister that did not get relieved to know that there is another choice of clothing?
