The Vyniasa Yoga is ideal for those who wish to lose weight. This style of Yoga is a little faster and is based on continuous movements during the entire class. The Vyniasa burns a lot of calories and is based on sitting and standing postures, as well as some inversions.
If you have neck or back problems, the lyengar yoga can be the solution for you. This method focuses mainly on working the alignment that strengthen the muscles and support joints.
The bikram Yoga is ideal to work flexibility. The classrooms where bikram is practiced have higher temperature and air humidity. This heat causes relaxation of the muscles and allows them to “stretch” more, increasing the flexibility of the body.
The kundalini is a more spiritual experience than the styles. The Asthanga Yoga is recommended for those who already have a lot of experience in yoga, as it is more physically demanding. This style requires the typical strength and endurance of those who regularly practice the ancient art.
